Today is one of the highlights of the school year—the day our Wi******er alumni return to walk the grounds of their elementary school one last time before graduation.

This special and bittersweet tradition gives us an opportunity to reflect on the growth, accomplishments, and journeys of our students. It is a joy to welcome them back, hear about their experiences, celebrate their successes, and witness the remarkable young adults they have become.

The seniors paraded through the school, posed for a class photo, enjoyed cookies and refreshments, visited with staff and students, and even spent some time playing on their old playground bringing back memories from their elementary school days.

Moments like these remind us that education is more than lessons and assignments; it is about relationships, growth, and preparing students for the future.

We are incredibly proud of the graduating Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. Congratulations, seniors! We can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you!

Congratulations to Richard “Ricky” Oliver, PE Teacher at Wi******er Elementary School, who was presented with a Crystal Apple Award at the May 6 School Board meeting!

A quiet leader, Ricky creates a physical education environment rooted in care, fun, and consistent routines. His professionalism is evident in his clear expectations, strong organization, and calm, respectful approach to student management.
