Today we’re recognizing an incredible community partner — Extreme Products — for the many ways they continue to support the Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation year after year.

From serving as a Platinum Sponsor of the Oregon Law Enforcement Ball & Auction, to sponsoring our annual golf tournament, to generously managing our exclusive OFBF merchandise storefront at no cost, their support continually helps move our organization and our mission forward.

We also want to recognize owner John Myers for the dedication and countless hours he gives as part of our fundraising committee for both the Ball & Auction and golf tournament. His passion for supporting Oregon law enforcement families is evident in everything he does.

We are incredibly thankful for the partnership, generosity, and heart behind the entire Extreme Products team! 👏

We pause as a grateful nation to remember those 24,775 heroes who gave their lives serving and protecting their communities in the United States since the first known line-of-duty death in 1786. On this Peace Officers Memorial Day, join us in keeping these faithful servants and those still grieving them close to our hearts.

They are never forgotten.

Since we’re in a mood for exciting announcements this week, we’re thrilled to welcome the two newest members of our board of directors: Mike Wulff and Kieran Ramsey. Both are historic elections for us.

Mike is a sergeant with the Medford Police Department and a dedicated member of the line-of-duty death response team. Mike is a 19-year veteran of sworn law enforcement, serving with both the Lakewood (WA) Police Department and MPD. He’s the first member of the board from Southern Oregon, which now gives us representation in every region of the state.

Kieran is a retired member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Best known in Oregon law enforcement circles as the longtime special agent-in-charge of the Portland office, he retired in 2025 following more than 30 years’ service as the FBI’s assistant director out of headquarters in Washington, DC. Kieran is the first federal agent, active or retired, to join our board, and he brings with him excellent relationships with all levels of federal law enforcement.

We also want to thank outgoing board member Darryl Wrisley for his nine years of faithful service as a director for the Foundation. Darryl won’t be stepping away fully, as he’s staying with the line-of-duty death response team.

Thank you, Darryl, and welcome aboard, Mike and Kieran! The future of the Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation is very bright indeed!

We’re thrilled to announce Charles Rohlf as our new statewide vice president and DaNeshia Barrett as the new president of the Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation. Both bring consistently demonstrated passionate, humble leadership and compassionate care for grieving families and agencies to their new roles.

Charles is a senior trooper with the Oregon State Police stationed in La Grande, and he is a longtime member of OSP’s honor guard. He’s a highly tenured member of our line-of-duty death response team, and he’s also a highly-deployed responder to active-duty deaths in Oregon, responding seven times in 2025 alone.

DaNeshia is a sergeant with the Beaverton Police Department, and she is the commander of BPD’s honor guard. Since joining the board of directors, DaNeshia led the large-scale rewrite of our line-of-duty death response guidelines, which are now in use in both Oregon and Idaho. She’s also a seasoned member of the line-of-duty death response team, and a regular responder to active-duty deaths in our state.

With these two in their new positions, the future of the Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation is very bright, and we look forward to the places they take our foundation under their leadership.

Congratulations, Dee and Charlie!
