Thank you to MSK Community Center for seeing the vision and hosting our First-Time Homebuyers Workshop.

Last year, I shared this idea with Charlotte Miller Lacy, and she immediately supported it. I'm grateful to Interfaith Community Housing of Delaware for bringing together great partners to educate and inspire future homeowners.

It was exciting to see so many people take the first step toward homeownership. Now the question is: who will be the first from this group to purchase their home? šŸ”šŸ”‘

Mother Africa Church held pieces of history, culture, and education within its walls that touched so many who walked through those doors. A heartbreaking loss for our community.

On Friday, May 8th, I spent a beautiful afternoon with the ladies of Maplewood Apts enjoying a Pre Motherā€™s Day Lunch. The food and laughter filled the room so much that we even had enough left over to feed the gentlemen too šŸ„°

After hearing from 2 family members in less than a week struggling to renew their licenses, I figured itā€™s worth the reminder:

The Wilmington DMV off Route 13 is taking appointments. If you walk in without one, be prepared to wait... and I know none of us enjoy that part.

You can schedule an appointment by calling 302-434-3200 or online at appointments.dmv.de.gov.
