Know the Ohio Law before you head out on your e-bike. What is allowed on our local trails?

"E-bikes should not be ridden on paths primarily designed for hiking, equestrian use, or mountain biking, or on any natural surface.

✅ Class 1 and 2 E-bikes are generally permitted on any bike lane, sidepath, or shared use path, although local laws may prohibit these classes of e-bikes on certain paths.

❎ Class 3 E-bikes are generally not permitted on shared use paths that aren’t adjacent to a roadway. (Source: ODOT)
