I worked at Habicht's Department Store while I was in high school and also while I was in college at Moorhead State University. I would come home during the summer and work Crazy Days, etc. I have started this Facebook fan page for former shoppers and Habicht's Department Store employees. The store was a big part of the downtown history and experience. Feel free to share any pictures or memories.

When things quiet down, I am hoping to have a Habicht's reunion so all the former employees and family can get together and visit!

Here are some of the Habicht's Department Store mixing bowls that Briana shared! She is Mac Habicht's daughter and Gene and Rosemary Habicht's granddaughter. I remember working at Habicht's when she was born and her parents brought her into the store! Mac was so proud of his little girl and so were her grandparents!

This page is designed for those who use to work or shop at Habicht's Department Store in downtown Wilmar. I learned a lot about life and working with people from Gene, Rosemarie, Bob, Mac, and family. Feel free to share any memories or pictures from Habicht's over the years.
