🌞 National Picnic Day at Pierce’s 🌞

Did you know Pierce’s has over 40 picnic tables spread across our spacious outdoor picnic area?

Whether you’re grabbing lunch with family, meeting friends, or just looking for a shady spot to enjoy some barbecue, we’ve got plenty of room to spread out and relax.

With temperatures heating up tomorrow, our yellow umbrellas will be working overtime to help keep you cool while you enjoy your favorite Pierce’s meal outdoors.

And keep an eye out for our special turquoise picnic table from — a colorful reminder that a simple table can bring people together 🩵

So grab some BBQ, find your favorite picnic table, and celebrate with us!

Our 24/7 food lockers at Sentara CarePlex Hospital are helping ensure that nutritious food is available anytime it’s needed.

If you or someone you know could use extra support, simply call (757) 271-4703 to receive a code and get set up with a locker.

Half of the lockers are reserved for patients being discharged, and the rest are open to anyone in the community experiencing hunger. Together, we’re nourishing our neighbors in new ways because food and health go hand in hand.

Here's what you need to know about our drive-thru food distributions happening this month:
📋 For distributions that require registration, please arrive at the distribution site around that time. You will be asked to provide your name, the number of members in your household, and zip code.
