The City of Wildwood Parks & Recreation Annual Adult Co-Ed Kickball League is back for another season!

Registration Deadline: Friday, August 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Fee: $150 per team (minimum 12 players/maximum 20 players)

Ages: 18 and up

Location: Millennium Park Ballfields (1300 Huey Street)

Game Days: Mondays

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Season: August 24, 2026 - November 2, 2026

Captain's Meeting: August 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Warfield Auditorium (98 S. Warfield Avenue)

No school? No problem! Summer BreakSpot offers a place where kids and teens 18 and under can access no-cost meals.

Breakfast and lunch are served up Monday-Friday at more than 3,000 locations across Florida, including schools, community centers, churches, and more.

No application or registration necessary. All you have to do is show up! So, tell your friends, family, and neighbors, and join us at the coolest spot for kids this summer.

In honor of America's 250th Anniversary, City of Wildwood Parks & Recreation invites residents, businesses, and pet lovers to show off their patriotic spirit by participating in three exciting community contests.

4th of July Commercial & Residential Decorating Contest:
Transform your home or business into a red, white, and blue masterpiece! Whether it's dazzling lights, patriotic displays, creative landscaping, or festive storefronts, we want to see how Wildwood homes and businesses celebrate America.

Commercial & Residential Decorating Contest Prizes:
1st Place – $250 Gift Card
2nd Place – $150 Gift Card
3rd Place – $100 Gift Card

4th of July Patriotic Pet Contest:
Dress up your furry, feathered, or scaly friend in their best patriotic attire and show off their American spirit!

Patriotic Pet Contest Prizes:
1st Place – $150 Gift Card
2nd Place – $100 Gift Card
3rd Place – $75 Gift Card

Eligibility: All homes, businesses, and pets entered in the contests must be located or reside within the City of Wildwood.

Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and consistency with the patriotic America 250 theme.

Entry Deadline: All contest entries must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

How to Enter: Please email your completed application along with a photo of your patriotic pet, decorated home, or business to [email protected]

Judging: Contest judging will take place during the second week of July.

Winners Announced: Winners will be announced on Monday, July 13, 2026, on the City of Wildwood Parks and Recreation page.

Selected photographs may be featured in City of Wildwood publications, on the city website, across official social media channels, and in public exhibitions to promote community engagement and civic pride. By entering the contest, you agree to allow your submitted photographs, along with your name, city, and state, to be published as winners or featured entries by the City of Wildwood.

Life Skills of America Inc. and City of Wildwood Parks & Recreation partner to offer Summer Tutoring Program

City of Wildwood Parks & Recreation, in partnership with Life Skills of America Inc., is excited to offer a Summer Tutoring Program for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students.

Students will have the option of receiving support in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, test preparation, and homework help.

Dates: June 8 – July 31, 2026 (Mondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays)

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

SUMMER HOURS at the Wildwood Splash Pad at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park officially begin TOMORROW, Monday, June 1, 2026.

Bring the kids, cool off, and enjoy some fun in the sun this summer!

Summer 2026 Hours of Operation:
Open Daily 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

CLOSED July 3, 2026 (City observed holiday for Independence Day)

Splash Pad Friendly Reminders:

• Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Proper swim attire required. Swim diapers are required for children who are not potty trained. Regular diapers are prohibited.

• No running or rough play.

• No glass containers, food, or drinks on the splash pad wet deck.

• Pets are not allowed. Service animals permitted as per state law.

• Unscheduled temporary closures may occur due to weather, mechanical, or other unforeseen circumstances.

They have clinched a spot in the state tournament June 11-14, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
