As your State Representative, my responsibility is to focus on the needs of Kansans and District 103 and I do. Part of that responsibility is sharing how federal decisions affect the people I serve and speaking up when those decisions help or hurt our community, because representation matters at every level.
Healthcare costs, prescription drug prices, immigration policy, infrastructure funding, housing programs, education funding, public safety grants, workforce development, and economic policies all have a direct impact on our neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and families.
The issues facing District 103 don't stop at city limits or state lines. They are connected to larger systems that influence our daily lives. Ignoring those connections doesn't solve problems, it simply overlooks part of the picture.
My focus remains on affordability, public safety, education, healthcare, and creating opportunities for working families. Understanding how federal policies impact those priorities and working to make sure my constituents have a greater understanding of how decisions at the federal level impact us is part of doing the job effectively. It's time to break the majority in Washington and the super majority in Topeka!
