Wibaux, MT – July 8, 2026 — MSU Extension’s Mobile Memory Café, led by Program Manager Lisa Brachwitz, will host a free Dementia education drop in event at the Wibaux Senior Center to help community members better understand dementia and caregiving.
The program offers clear, practical information on topics including:
• What Dementia Is and How it Affects Individuals
• Early Warning Signs of Memory Loss
• How Dementia is Detected and Diagnosed
• What to Expect After a Diagnosis
• Brain Health and Strategies for Living Well with Dementia
• Effective Communication with People Experiencing Memory Loss
“Dementia impacts many families, yet people often feel unprepared,” said Dr. Daniel Koltz, Gerontology Specialists and Founder/Director of the MSU Extension Mobile Memory Café. “This event provides supportive, easy to understand information to help families navigate memory loss.”
The drop-in event is open to all community members, caregivers, and professionals.
