Congratulations to our very own Noah Dreisbach on his completion of Firefighter One. Noah has put in over 175 hours of training over the past few months to become an interior firefighter, and we are all very proud of him! Good work!

Whitehall Township has declared a Snow Emergency, effective 12:00 PM Saturday, January 24 through 7:00 PM Monday, January 26th.

IMPORTANT: Due to the impending snow storm the Township is asking residents to: remove all vehicles from roadways to assist with snow removal and cleanup efforts. Please wait till the end of the storm to open your driveway apron as crews will only plow to open driving lanes during the storm. Widening curb to curb will take place after the storm. Thank you for your cooperation and please stay safe.

The crew at Station 37 would like to congratulate Kyle Beltz on his recent promotion to Lieutenant. Kyle has been a member of the department for over 10 years and is Firefighter 1 certified. Kyle is a role model to all our members and is always willing to train our younger firefighters. We are extremely proud of Kyle for his hard work and dedication.

The crew would also like to thank Firefighter Dan Stiff for his 11 plus years as an Officer in the Department. Dan served as a Lieutenant for 8 years and Captain for 3 years.

This evening around 2100, Station 37, Station 36, and Station 62, responded to Route 22 westbound for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Upon arriving on scene, 3 vehicle accident off to the shoulder with 2 people complaining of injuries. Patients were assessed and treated scene for minor injuries.

Celebrating a few things this morning!
-Station 37 asks you to join us in congratulating our Lieutenant, Lee Herpel. Lee received the honor of Fire Officer of the year at this year’s annual Firefighter’s banquet on Saturday evening. Lee is an outstanding leader, mentor, and friend to all of us. This award recognizes his dedication, knowledge, and professionalism. Well deserved, congratulations Lee!
-Members participating in the Firefighter 2 class completed their written and hands on testing this week. All members passed hands on skills and are waiting to receive their written test results. Strong work from all, LT Lee Herpel, FF Kyle Beltz, and FF Madi Beltz.
