Now Hiring: Regional Crops Educator

The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension is seeking a Regional Crops Educator. The Regional Crops Educator will work with producers in their service area to identify needs and deliver research-based solutions to help them meet their goals. This position will cover Buffalo, Trempealeau, and Jackson counties.

The Regional Crops Educator position is designed to work with crop producers and agribusiness professionals across a multi-county service area to solve production challenges and incorporate new research findings into outreach and educational materials that improve the efficiency and profitability of crop production.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
Demonstrate experience in understanding experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpreting research data
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse audiences.
Position Details:

Location: Buffalo, Trempealeau, and Jackson Counties, WI
Minimum Salary: $62,000 annually (negotiable based on qualifications)

Who doesn't love ice cream! The next flavor could be from Trempealeau County!

It's that time, Wisconsin 4-H! 🍦🍀

Cedar Crest Ice Cream and the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation have teamed up once again to present the “Cedar Crest Ice Cream 4-H Flavor Creation Contest” for Wisconsin 4-H clubs. All Wisconsin 4-H clubs are eligible to submit their ideas for a new ice cream flavor, along with a flavor description and interesting flavor name. Entries are being accepted now through November 15!
