For many caregivers in the Flathead Valley, caring for a loved one with dementia is a full-time act of love — but even caregivers need support. 💗

This month's Giving Together column in the Daily Inter Lake highlights the work of Flathead Respite Care and other local nonprofits helping caregivers, seniors, and families navigate some of life’s most vulnerable moments with dignity, connection, and compassion.

Thanks to Community Grants funded by our Circle of Giving donors, these organizations are expanding access to respite care and critical services throughout the region.

Our office will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26 at 9 a.m.

Our team enjoyed a beautiful morning hike up Lion Mountain for Whitefish Legacy Partners - The Whitefish Trail's Hit the Trail Challenge! 🥾🌄 We are grateful to have these amazing trails in our backyard!

Congratulations to Bear Grass Performing Arts on your Community Grant to expand the Flathead Valley Youth Chorus!

THANK YOU to the Whitefish Community Foundation for awarding Bear Grass Performing Arts a $6,000 Community Grant! We couldn't do what we do without WCF. We will use the funds to expand the Flathead Valley Youth Chorus' reach from grades 3-6 to grades 2-7!

Our 2025 Annual Report demonstrates what happens when our community comes together with generosity and purpose. 💙

Together, we granted more than $21 million to 135 local nonprofits, while charitable contributions grew by 100% in support of our community’s future.
