🚧 Notice of Road Closures – DTE Gas Main Project 🚧

Please be advised that DTE will be replacing and installing a new gas main on Adda Street at Clark Street and Fuller Street.

This project is expected to begin Monday, June 1, 2026, and is anticipated to last approximately two weeks.

Residents and motorists should expect temporary road closures and traffic disruptions in the area during construction. Please use caution when traveling near the work zone and allow extra time for travel.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed.

❗️Due to a lack of quorum, tonight’s Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled.

The next Planning Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 4:30 PM and will include a full review of the proposed new Zoning Ordinance draft.

As a reminder, City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day. As we enjoy the holiday weekend, we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country and the freedoms we enjoy today.

We would also like to remind everyone that the Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 25th. We encourage community members to come out as we honor those who have served.

The Veteran Banners are going up just in time for Memorial Day weekend! 🇺🇸

It is truly our honor to display and recognize the community members who have served this country and fought for our freedom. These banners are a powerful reminder of the brave men and women who sacrificed so much in service to our nation.

A huge thank you to Makiiya Jodway of Special Tees & Graphics, along with our hardworking DPW crew, for all the time and effort being put into getting these amazing banners hung throughout town!

We can’t wait to drive through the city and see all the incredible men and women who have shed blood, sweat, and tears for the protection and freedom of this country. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We are proud to display these banners, and we are proud to be Americans. 🇺🇸
