As a newly designated Redevelopment Ready Community, this marks our first opportunity to participate in this incredible program, and we're thrilled to see these investment dollars supporting one of our downtown businesses.

If you're a local downtown business owner, don't be discouraged if you weren't selected this round! More Match on Main opportunities will be available in the future, and we look forward to helping additional businesses apply and compete for funding. 🤩

Attention White Cloud Residents: Use caution while traveling in the city today and tomorrow. White Cloud is hosting the PALM Bike Tour. Cyclists will arrive throughout the afternoon and evening and stay overnight at WCPS before departing tomorrow morning. Please share the road safely! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴

What an incredible way to end an amazing event and celebrate the first official day of summer. ☀️ We are truly grateful for your continued support and for helping make SkyFest such a special community event!! 🎇

📚WC COMMUNITY🎒MARK YOUR CALENDARS 📅The White Cloud PD Kids & Community Picnic coming up will be Tuesday, August 18th, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Rotary Park!

This event is completely FREE and includes dinner, games, prizes, hundreds of giveaways, school supplies, backpacks, a foam pit, crafts, and so much more!

It's always one of the best ways to kick off the new school year as a community, and it's definitely my favorite kids' community event of the year. We hope to see lots of smiling faces there! 💙🚔🍔🎨🎁📚🎒☀️

THANK YOU TO AKJ FIREWORKS & HOUSEMAN'S FOR SUPPORTING THE SKYFEST FIREWORKS🎆 ROUND-UP CAMPAIGN!🤩🥳

The Houseman's Foods Round Up Fundraiser for White Cloud Sky Fest 2026 wrapped up on June 12, and we are excited to share the results.

2025 Raised: $3,464.43
2026 Raised: $3,752.65

Total raised through the Houseman's Round Up Program: $7,217.08

We are especially grateful for this support, as funds raised in 2025 were carried over after last year's Sky Fest was canceled. Combined with this year's fundraising efforts, these contributions have helped make this year's event possible.

We extend our sincere thanks to Houseman's Foods and every customer who rounded up their purchases to support Sky Fest. Your generosity has helped make this community celebration possible.

🚧 Notice of Road Closures – DTE Gas Main Project 🚧

Please be advised that DTE will be replacing and installing a new gas main on Adda Street at Clark Street and Fuller Street.

This project is expected to begin Monday, June 1, 2026, and is anticipated to last approximately two weeks.

Residents and motorists should expect temporary road closures and traffic disruptions in the area during construction. Please use caution when traveling near the work zone and allow extra time for travel.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed.

❗️Due to a lack of quorum, tonight’s Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled.

The next Planning Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 4:30 PM and will include a full review of the proposed new Zoning Ordinance draft.

As a reminder, City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day. As we enjoy the holiday weekend, we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country and the freedoms we enjoy today.

We would also like to remind everyone that the Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 25th. We encourage community members to come out as we honor those who have served.
