Leaf Tree Services will be back in Wheeler tomorrow (Friday, July 17th) to finish trimming trees and removing the stumps from the park.

**Also, as a reminder, the trees/wood by the community building are up for grabs to whoever would like the wood. You will have to cut the wood yourself.

If you have seen the community building this weekend, you've probably noticed the wood/trees on the side. This is free to whoever wants it, but you must cut what you want on your own. Feel free to take as much as you need, but know there will not be anyone available to help you cut it or haul it.

Good morning everyone!

Just wanted everyone to be aware of Leaf Tree Services being back in Wheeler today. They will be finishing up the trees at the park. Please keep your children from the park.

Leaf Tree Services will be back in the Village today. Due to the soft ground and extreme heat of last week, they were unable to finish cutting the trees. Their presence will create temporary road blocks. Please choose another route if they are in your pathway. Also, avoid the park while they are there. Thank you!

Update on the trees:
Leaf Tree Services will be unable to remove the trees at the park due to the ground being too soft still. They will still be trimming the trees over the roadways around town today. This will cause some temporary road blockages. If you run into a road blockage, we ask that you find an alternate route.

REMINDER:
Leaf Tree Services will be in the Village on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026. Please be aware of their presence and keep out of their path and away from the park to ensure everyone's safety. Thank you for your cooperation while this is being taken done!

Update:
Due to the expected incoming rain tomorrow, Leaf Tree Service will not be in town. They are rescheduled to come cut down the trees at the park and the limbs over the roadways for Wednesday, July 1st. Please note the change in date and keep children from the park while they are there to ensure everyone's safety. Thank you!

Skeeter Slayers will be in Wheeler this evening to spray for mosquitos. While non-toxic to pets and people, please make sure to close your windows if you have respiratory issues.

On Thursday, June 25th, 2026 and possibly Friday, June 26th, 2026, Leaf Tree Service will be in Wheeler removing trees at the park and removing limbs over roadways. Please be aware of their presence and stay out of their way. We also ask that you and your children remain away from the park while they are there as not to impede in their work and to remain safe.
