Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation. We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the countless acts of courage and sacrifice that followed.

In the days after that unimaginable tragedy, America came together. We were not divided by politics or differences—we were Americans. We stood beside our neighbors, flew our flag with pride, prayed together, grieved together, and reminded the world of the strength and resilience of this great country.

Twenty-five years later, may we remember not only what we lost that day, but who we became in the days that followed. May we never forget the lives, the heroes, the sacrifice—and the unity that reminded us that we are always stronger when we stand together.

WERE THE COURTS RIGHT TO BLOCK DEMOCRATS' GERRYMANDERING AMENDMENT FROM THE BALLOT?

Judges in Anne Arundel and Dorchester counties ruled that Maryland Democrats failed to meet basic legal requirements for putting their gerrymandering amendment before voters, including providing adequate public notice and using clear, non-misleading language.

We had a great turnout tonight and heard from Board of Education candidates Cleveland Friday, Marsha Herbert, and Shannon Hinkhaus, along with the TPUSA Carroll County Chapter President Bella Lytal. Tonight we proudly endorsed our BOE candidates and the entire Republican ticket.

DAN COX ACCEPTS OCTOBER 6 MPT DEBATE WITH WES MOORE, CALLS FOR TWO ADDITIONAL DEBATES
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Republican gubernatorial nominee Dan Cox today accepted Maryland Public Television’s proposed October 6, 2026 debate with Gov. Wes Moore and called on Moore to agree to at least two additional debates before Election Day.

The MPT debate is proposed as an in-studio, televised forum with questions from a panel of independent reporters and moderators.

With mail-in ballots scheduled to begin going out September 21, Cox thanked MPT while arguing Maryland voters should have multiple opportunities to hear directly from both candidates.

“I am honored, on behalf of the people of Maryland, to accept the debate with Wes Moore,” Cox said. “But Marylanders deserve more than one debate—and an opportunity to hear from both candidates before and while voting is underway.”

Cox challenged Moore to participate in at least two additional debates, proposing Maryland colleges and universities as possible hosts, including Bowie State University, Morgan State University, Coppin State University and the University of Maryland.

“What is he afraid of? Let’s let the people hear from both candidates,” Cox said. “I welcome the opportunity to debate our different visions for Maryland—including my vision of lowering taxes and fees, making Maryland more affordable, reopening and bringing online new electric plants, expanding energy options, lowering crime and building the Key Bridge along with Maryland’s bright future.”
