🎬 In one week, we’ll know. In 7 days, the Downtown Sykesville Connection & the Town of Sykesville will take the national stage—and we’ll find out if we are one of the 2026 Great American Main Street Award winners.
🏆 This video is the story that brought us to the semifinals. The work. The people. The belief in what Main Street can be.
But win or not, our staff and Board wanted to say this clearly:✨ We feel like we already won. Because we get to do this work for you, with you, and alongside you—every single day. And that’s what makes Sykesville special.
So take a minute, watch the story, and know that this moment belongs to you. 🎉 And no matter what happens… we celebrate together on April 18 in downtown Sykesville!
