Largest Attendance Since Returning to In-Person Meetings!!
20th Anniversary: A Sweet Success!

More than three times the number of people who attended the first Democratic Women's Council of the Conejo Valley meeting in 2004, came out for the 20th Anniversary celebration during the brunch meeting on Saturday, August 17, at The Landing Grill & Sushi Bar, in Westlake Village.

CA Senator Fran Pavley (retired) regaled and informed the 46 attendees by recalling changes since 2004 she spoke to the 15 who attended that first meeting. This year's total 47 is the largest brunch meeting attendance since DWCCV returned to in-person meetings. Each attendee received a box of Red, White & Blue M&M candies imprinted with DWCCV. The 20 anniversary gift project was led by Nancy Feigelson. Special thanks Thousand Oaks City Councilmember David Newman* for the photo.
