Mobile Emissions Testing returns to Western Springs.
Monday, September 28 - Friday, October 2
Recreation Department parking lot (1500 Walker Street)
10 am - 4 pm daily

No appointment is required, but your vehicle must be eligible for testing. Registration can also be renewed on site.

Water Main Break: 4100 Garden Avenue

The Public Works Division is responding to a water main break on the 4100 block of Garden Avenue A water shut-off will be required to complete the repair. Staff will work as efficiently as possible to complete the repair and restore service.

Water Main Break: Walnut Street

The Public Works Division responded to and repaired a water main break on Walnut, during the overnight hours.

A water shut-off was required to complete the repair:

- on Hampton, from Maple to Walnut
- on Rose, from Walnut to Maple
- on Walnut, from Garden to Hampton

The repair was completed and water service was restored at approximately 4:30 am Wednesday morning.

Come contribute your ideas to make the 50th Anniversary of the Tower Trot the best year ever!

The next community-wide meeting will be held on Thursday at the Recreation Center. Details are attached.

The 50th Anniversary of the Tower Trot is May 29, 2027!

Before we hit the starting line, the Recreation Department is looking for community input to help shape this milestone race.
Join us for a Tower Trot talk-through where we will spring through ideas, jog down memory lane, and pace out plans for the big 5-0!

The next community meeting Thursday, September 10, at 3:30 pm, at the Recreation Center at 1500 Walker Street.
