Did you know that sealing or expunging a criminal record can unlock better job opportunities, stabler housing, and a brighter future? Last week, nearly 20 people had their criminal records expunged with the goal of moving forward with their lives. Several are featured in the WKRC story linked below.

If you are interested in the sealing or expunging of a criminal record, you can take the first step toward a clean slate by calling Legal Aid to see if we can assist you. You can reach us at (513) 241-9400, or toll-free at (800) 582-2682.

Sealing or expunging a criminal record can make a significant difference in obtaining housing or employment. The Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio is hosting free legal clinics at the Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. for low-income individuals who want to apply for sealing or expungement of a criminal record.

Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is recommended, so make sure to call (513) 361-8834 or email [email protected]. Bring any related documentation and case numbers you have to the clinic.
