Join us at our free rental housing clinics this summer to learn about your rights as a tenant to healthy housing, as well as what to do if those rights aren't being met by your landlord.
The clinics will take place on June 16, July 7, and August 18, and all three will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The June and August clinics will be held at the Hillsboro office of the Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc., and the July clinic will be held at their Greenfield office.
Walk-ins are welcome, but you can RSVP by calling (513) 362-2780 or emailing [email protected]. Make sure to bring copies of your current lease agreement, any written communications with your landlord or code enforcement, and photos or videos of any poor living conditions, such as mold, pests, or problems with plumbing, electric, heat, or water. Depending on your specific situation and income eligibility, legal assistance may include advice, brief service, and/or court representation.
The Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati serves residents of seven counties: Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland, and Warren.
