We are glad that establishment media is finally talking about Elect Persis for MA State Senate and the incredible campaign she ran! There are great insights here on how we can challenge the recalcitrant leadership in the Legislature to stop acting behind closed doors and to actually deal with the big issues facing us all here like a lack of affordability and our housing crisis.

Universal Hub: ‘In victory over Mike Rush, Persis Yu even won his ward’

Preliminary Boston totals for the Norfolk and Suffolk state-senate district, in which Persis Yu will replace Mike Rush as senator, show that Yu won Rush's homebase of Ward 20, with 4,810 votes to his 4,110, on the strength of her margins on the Roslindale side of the ward. Read more.

Thank you, Patrick Roath! We are so grateful to Patrick Roath for running and being so competitive in a very difficult district for progressive candidates. Patrick is a leader and we are excited for whatever he chooses to do next, after some well-deserved rest and time spent with his beautiful family. Patrick won the City of Boston and did particulary well in Roslindale and West Roxbury. We congratulate Congressman Lynch on his victory and hope this fierce challenge will serve as a reminder that progressive voters matter in his district. Thank you to Patrick and his great team for a race well-run.

Congratulations to the Democratic Nominee for the Norfolk and Suffolk State Senate District PERSIS YU!

We are so proud of Persis Yu and her team. This is a victory for the grassroots over the political establishment in every sense of the word. We are honored to have been one of many organizations to have played a part in this tremendous victory. We also want to acknowledge and thank Senator Rush for his service to our community and our country. There will be much more to say in the days and weeks to come, but congratulations and we cannot wait to work with Senator Yu at the State House!

NOW OR NEVER 🗳️. These races are winnable and within reach. Now is the time to check in with your networks to make sure they have voted or are going to vote by 8 pm tonight. We have momentum and can win with the grassroots but need all hands on deck. All our endorsees can use more volunteers making calls to voters to make sure they go vote - sign up on their websites now or message us to get looped in. Any amount of time could be the difference in what will be close finishes. Thank you!

CONTACT FRIENDS TODAY! Today is the day to reach out and check in with in your friends and neighbors. Make sure they have a plan to vote tomorrow and send them our endorsement card (save it on your phone). This is the biggest impact you can make for our three endorsed candidates: Ed Markey Patrick Roath Persis Yu. The biggest factor in whether someone votes and who they vote for is hearing from trusted voices like yourself. Don’t wait, do it today!
