🚨 BUSINESS EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATE

The City of West Point is updating emergency contact information for businesses and organizations throughout the city.

The West Point 911 Communications Center, Police Department, and Fire Department are working together to verify information and ensure emergency personnel can quickly reach responsible parties when needed.

City representatives may call or visit your business to verify or collect:

• Business/facility name and address
• Business type
• Phone number
• 2–3 emergency contacts
• Building/property owner information

Businesses and organizations should not be alarmed if contacted. This is a routine emergency records update and an important part of the City's ongoing public safety efforts.

Accurate contact information is especially important for emergencies involving fires, fire alarms, hazardous conditions, severe weather, utility emergencies, and other incidents requiring notification of a responsible party.

We're excited to see downtown businesses making improvements that strengthen the look, feel, and character of our community.

This project was paid for in part by the Downtown West Point Development Authority through its Facade Incentive Grant Program.

The program provides dollar-for-dollar matching grant of up to $1,500 to encourage exterior improvements to downtown commercial properties.

Small improvements can make a big difference-and when our businesses invest in their buildings, they're investing in the future of Downtown West Point.
