For over 100 years, Junior Achievement has provided quality financial education to millions of children around the world. Lucie, Indian River & Hendry counties, Junior Achievement reaches nearly 60,000 students each year. Our programs teach students the key concepts of financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship; crucial life skills for today’s economy. JA educates the next generation

on how to create a budget, stay out of debt, and save for the future. Our work readiness programs teach the next generation how to enter the job market, interview for a job, and most importantly, the skills that are needed to retain that job. Junior Achievement is teaching the next generation how an entrepreneur can bring about powerful economic change in our global economy! Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast reaches students through VIRTUAL classroom programs (K-12), JA BizTown® Adventures and our newest program, JA Inspire! Junior Achievement programs are funded through contributions from businesses, individuals, foundations, and special event fundraisers. A huge thank you to Hidden Oaks Middle School for hosting our final JA Inspire event of the year. We had an incredible morning connecting 8th grade students with local professionals and helping them explore future career pathways.

We are so grateful to all of our volunteers, educators, and community partners who made this event such a success. Special shoutout to Principal Forte and the Hidden Oaks team for being wonderful hosts and creating such a welcoming environment!

Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast was proud to support Career Day at Belvedere Elementary School, home of the Belvedere Bees.

Even with a rainy start, the energy never slowed down. First responders kept on smiling, and students stayed engaged throughout the day as parents, spouses of educators, and community partners from across the West Palm Beach community and beyond showed up to share their experiences.

Students explored careers across a wide range of industries including public safety, banking and finance, entrepreneurship, maritime and logistics, animal care, skilled trades, nonprofit organizations, and more.

A standout moment included hands on learning with a youth program focused on teaching students how to safely use tools and build, giving them an early introduction to practical skills and career pathways in the trades.

Rain or shine, it was a strong example of a community coming together to support its students and create meaningful career awareness experiences.
