On Friday, the West Michigan Young Democrats had their FIRST general meeting!

It was an amazing meeting full of awesome discussion and we were finally able to ratify our constitution! Check our page on the Muskegon Democratic Party's website in the next few days to view it!

It's official-- our very own chair, Morgan Griffin, has graduated valedictorian of the MPS class of 2016! On her way to Johns Hopkins University with a 4.19 high school GPA under her belt this fall, we are all incredibly proud of her accomplishments.

Yesterday, one of the Young Dems (the rest were on Spring Break!) was given the opportunity to attend the Black Women's Political Caucus's Scholarship Breakfast in the morning and the Recall Snyder Rally that afternoon.

It was a full day of meeting awesome leaders from across the state and hearing their powerful messages.

And, of course, it was a full day of taking selfies!
