Hello West Lebanon Voters! Early voting starts this week and I would be honored to receive your votes!!
I am not a speech-giving person, nor am I a “look at me! look at me!” type of person. I'm the person in the room observing and strategizing for my next move. I am constantly looking for ways to make things better.
Anxiety can be crippling at times, but it can also be motivating. I refuse to let that energy go to waste. Instead, I use that energy to be the best at what I do, I use it to learn something new, and I use it to do something that others have said I couldn’t.
An example of this is at my current Training Store Manager position when I achieved a great inventory result last year at 1.53% loss. The company budgeted for 2.10% loss for this store. My district manager said, “I don’t think you could get better than last year at 1.53%.” I said, “I’ll do everything in my power to be better.” The reality was 1.52% loss!
I may not be a Best, but I am THE BEST person for your next Clerk/Treasurer!!
I will not feed you promises that I cannot keep:
- On what the town’s money will be spent, because that is not my decision (the council votes on the budget and puts a plan into action)
- I cannot promise more accurate meter readings because a computer handles that.
I can promise that you can trust me to be accurate, transparent, honest, and respectful to all.
I have not held this position before, but I will focus on what is important to our community, I will listen to each and every one of you, and I will do everything I can to help lead West Lebanon forward.
