Today, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman visited the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station for a meeting with Captain Lapkin and station deputies. The visit focused on public safety priorities for our community and strengthening collaboration between local law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office.

Partnerships like this help ensure that the voices and needs of West Hollywood residents and visitors are reflected in countywide public safety efforts. We’re grateful for DA Hochman’s time and continued engagement with our community.

This afternoon, a bank robbery was reported in the 8600 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. A Drone as First Responder (DFR) deputy monitoring our Real-Time Watch Center used a newly installed live-feed camera system to quickly locate and track the suspect, leading to an arrest and full recovery of the stolen currency.

The investigation remains ongoing.

The beautiful game comes to WeHo this weekend! Join the City of West Hollywood’s free Fan Zone at Plummer Park, Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Catch the live screening of the U.S. Men’s National Team opening match Friday at 6 p.m.

As our community comes together for the festivities, WeHo Sheriff’s deputies will be out and about to help keep everyone safe. Stay aware of your surroundings, keep your belongings close, and if you see something concerning, say something.

WeHo Pride 2026 is a wrap, and what a weekend it was. 🏳️‍🌈

Our deputies were honored to be part of this celebration, working alongside an incredible team of city and county partners to help keep the community safe throughout the festivities.

From the parade to the festival grounds, our team was out in full force, on foot, engaged with the crowd, and committed to making sure everyone could celebrate freely and safely.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible: the City of West Hollywood’s Public Safety Division, Events and Programs Division, Event Services Division, LASD’s Emergency Operations Bureau, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, JJLA, and the entire WeHo community. Events like this take a village, and this village showed up.

Yesterday, deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station proudly took part in the 40th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Southern California — carrying the Flame of Hope through our community as part of a 1,100-mile relay across Southern California.

The Torch Run is the largest grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics, bringing together law enforcement and athletes to celebrate inclusion, courage, and the power of sport.

This year’s relay culminates at the 2026 Special Olympics Southern California Summer Games in Long Beach.

To every Special Olympics athlete — thank you for inspiring us. We’re honored to run for you. 🏅

🚧 Road Closures Now in Effect — West Hollywood Pride Weekend 🏳️‍🌈

Deputies from your West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station are deployed on Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs) and ready to keep the celebration safe for everyone.

Here’s what you need to know before heading out:

🚧 STREET CLOSURES
Starting Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m.
• N. San Vicente Blvd from Melrose Ave to Santa Monica Blvd
Starting Friday, June 5 at noon
• Santa Monica Blvd from La Cienega Blvd to Doheny Dr
• N. Robertson Blvd from Santa Monica Blvd to Melrose Ave
• N. San Vicente Blvd from Santa Monica Blvd to Cynthia St

Sunday, June 7 — Pride Parade (5 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
• Santa Monica Blvd from Fairfax Ave to Doheny Dr, including side streets one block north and south
Most street closures lift Monday, June 8 at 7 a.m.

🅿️ PARKING
Several lots and garages near West Hollywood Park close as early as Thursday, June 4. West Hollywood Park is closed May 31 through June 10.

🚌 FREE PRIDE RIDE
Skip the parking headache — ride free! The City of West Hollywood’s Pride Ride shuttle runs Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. along Santa Monica Blvd from La Brea Ave to Kings Road. Select shuttles connect to the Wilshire & La Cienega Metro D-Line Station in Beverly Hills from 5 p.m. to midnight.

⚠️ No Pride Ride service to Hollywood/Highland this year.
