West Hollywood Park is closed May 31 through June 10.

Skip the parking headache and ride free. The City of West Hollywood’s Pride Ride shuttle runs Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. along Santa Monica Blvd from La Brea Ave to Kings Road.
Select shuttles connect to the Wilshire & La Cienega Metro D-Line Station in Beverly Hills from 5 p.m. to midnight, with pickup and drop off at Melrose Ave and Huntley Dr.
Note: No Pride Ride service to Hollywood/Highland this year.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a traffic safety operation in West Hollywood on May 28 focused on keeping drivers and motorcyclists safe on our roadways.

Deputies will be looking for dangerous driving behaviors that put everyone at risk, including unsafe lane changes, speeding, distracted driving, and other traffic violations.

Motorcyclists and drivers are reminded to stay alert, share the road, and give each other plenty of space.

Mailbox theft can happen quickly, especially in apartment buildings with shared mail areas. Taking a few simple steps can help protect your mail, your packages, and your personal information.

Here are a few ways to reduce the risk:

βœ… Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery so you know what mail and packages are expected to arrive. More information is available at usps.com.

βœ… Pick up your mail promptly and avoid leaving it in your mailbox overnight.

βœ… Have valuable packages delivered to a secure locker, mailbox store, or another trusted location.

βœ… Report damaged mailboxes, missing mail, or suspicious activity near your building’s mail area as soon as possible.

If you believe your mail has been stolen, notify USPS, contact your property manager, and file a report.

On May 13 and May 14, 2026, deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station responded to two separate incidents at businesses in the 8800 block of Santa Monica Blvd.

In the May 14 incident, deputies determined two suspects were involved in a physical altercation. A victim who intervened during the fight sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Both suspects were arrested and booked at West Hollywood Station.

In the May 13 incident, deputies responded to a business disturbance involving a suspect who allegedly slapped a victim and made criminal threats inside the location. After being removed by security, the suspect allegedly threw glass and other items at patrons and later became involved in a fight with a pedestrian outside the business. Deputies located and arrested the suspect for criminal threats and assault with a deadly weapon.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed felony charges in both cases.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is aware of the active shooter incident at the Islamic Center of San Diego in Clairemont. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this act of violence.

Out of an abundance of caution, deputies across Los Angeles County have increased patrols and security checks at critical facilities and faith-based institutions. At the West Hollywood Station, deputies are actively following our Jewish Safety Plan and have increased patrols at all Jewish centers throughout our service area.

We are also in communication with our faith-based partners and encourage the prompt reporting of any suspicious activity.

Violence and hate have no place in our communities. The safety and security of all residents remains our top priority.

Join us in celebrating National Bike Month in West Hollywood! πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ

This morning, deputies from the West Hollywood Station joined a special bike pop-up β€œpit stop” at City Hall, including members of our COPS team who patrol the city by bike. Sgt. Clark, our Traffic Sergeant, also stopped by to support the event.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is actively investigating the burglary that occurred overnight on the 8500 block of Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and following up on leads related to the incident. Deputies will continue increased patrols in the area.
