Department of Housing and Urban Development at any given time there are 47,725 homeless veterans in the United States. Those who served to protect our freedom deserve MORE. This is why Warrior Homesteads was created. Our mission is to end veteran homelessness, and restore dignity to our men and women who laid their lives on the line. Our homes are specially designed to be more than just a shelter from the elements. They are designed to be a home, a respite from the worries of living without walls. Instead of being burdened by a mortgage, or utility bills, our residents will be free from the traditional stress associated with home ownership. Our "C.H.U." (container housing unit) is designed to be modular in nature. The function of the unit will always dictate form with our designs. pictured on our home page is adapted specifically to the land where it was placed. The final placed units may differ in appearance, depending on what resources are available.
