I want to take a moment to speak from my heart.
Throughout this campaign, I’ve made a conscious decision not to speak negatively about my opponent or engage in personal attacks. That’s not who I am, and it’s not the kind of leadership you deserve.
There have been things said about me that are hurtful and untrue. Like anyone, that’s not easy to hear, but I will not respond in kind or lower myself to that level. I believe we can disagree without trying to destroy one another’s character or reputation.
Despite everything that has been said about me, I still love and respect for our Mayor. And if I’m blessed with the opportunity to serve you for another term April 7, I will do everything in my power to restore that relationship and refocus on what truly matters: serving you, the people.
At the end of the day, this office is not about me. It’s about the people I represent, the families, the neighborhoods, and the future of our community. I’m not here for personal gain; I’m here because I love our city and want to serve you, the people of Ward one. I wish I could show you my heart.
I stand behind the votes I’ve made. Were they all perfect? No. But every decision was made with the information I had at the time and with a sincere and conscious desire to do what was best for our citizens and our ward.
I will continue striving to lead with integrity, honor, and a commitment to putting you, the people first.
Many have also asked, “Why did you put Jesus at the top of all your literature?” The best answer I can give is: God told me to.
I hope you have a blessed and wonderful day. God bless you and God bless Wentzville, our home.
