Thank you to the Garner ISD Community Emergency Response Team for collecting dontions of water, Gatorade, and snacks for us! We're thankful to be a part of such a great community!

PCESD 7 responded to a working structure fire this past week. Due to a hostile situation at the residence, the responding firefighters were advised to stage, or wait away from the house while it continued burning.

Law enforcement from Parker Co. Sheriff's Dept. , Weatherford Police Dept. responded and got the hostile situation undercontrol. This allowed the firefighters to move in and begin fighting the fire. The fire was contained to the structure, 2 vehicles and a welding trailer on the property.

Parker County ESD 7 would like to congratulate the 7 new members of Parker County’s Water Rescue Team.

Our own Parker County ESD 7 LT Matt Parham, LT Haven Wise, and Firefighter/ECA Peyton Reed received their Flood and Swiftwater Technician 1 certifications and became members of the county team.

We would also like to congratulate PCHD Lifecare EMS paramedics Chris Sears, Terry Moore, and Justin Schwanbeck received their Flood and Swiftwater technician 1 certification. These are 3 of 9 Lifecare paramedics that will be joining Parker County's Water Rescue team. This is another step to getting faster and better patient care.

Last but not least Firefighter/EMT-B James Tedder of Briar-Reno Fire department also received his Flood and Swiftwater Technician 1 certification.

Tanker 41 responded with personnel from Station 41 and 42 to the 1148 Fire at Possum Kingdom Lake as part of the Task Force sent by Parker County.
