Most importantly, thank you to everyone who displayed our signs. Wanted you all to know how much we appreciated your support. Here is what can be done with them now. They are easily disposed of, recycled or reused. See the photos for how to reuse.

They are glued on the sides and can easily be separated. Then they can be folded over and glued or stapled. Now they can be reused as a new sign for garage sales, open houses, lemonade stands, etc. We have some leftovers if anyone wants more. Just send a message and we will let you know where to get them.

I want to start by thanking everyone who voted for our team and believed in our campaign. We knew from the start it was going to be a longshot. That was never a deterrent. We had a message to share and a plan for what we envisioned could be a new way of doing things. We hoped for a government that involved everyone in the community, and finally put an end to partisan control locally. Now it's time to accept the results and enjoy the victory of our new Governor Mikie Sherrill.

Time to thank my team. I could not have picked more dedicated, hard working women. Between the two of them they have decades of service to this community. You could not have been better served. Katie and Suzanne will continue to do great things for this town. This is far from the end for any of us. There is something about community and service that is in our bones. That will not change. We will be back in some form in the future.

Good luck to the Mayor and his team. While you have been reelected, it is our genuine hope that you listened and understood that there are people in this community that do want some changes and you now represent them as well. Congratulations on your victory. Please get to work for ALL of us.

On the eve of the election, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported our grassroots campaign for true change.
As a community, and as a country, it’s clear that many voters have become disillusioned with both parties. Too often, people feel their voices aren’t being represented. Our goal in running as Independents has always been to bring that sense of representation back to our local community. We believe that by changing how government works at the local level, we can shift the focus back to what really matters: good policy, quality of life, and service over partisanship.
There are far too many people to thank individually for all the help, encouragement, and hard work over these past few months, but you all know who you are. Along the way, we’ve also made many new friends, and that’s been one of the greatest gifts of this journey.
And remember: a vote for our team is *NOT* a wasted vote. We still live in a democracy, and your vote belongs to **YOU** not to any political party.
Tomorrow is the final day to make your voice heard. If you haven’t already voted, we sincerely hope you’ll honor us with your support at the polls.
Let’s make this a community victory!
