It's always a great day when we get to spend time with the people we serve. Deputy Schoenstene and Special Deputy Clark enjoyed representing the sheriff's office at the Fish Lake Festival this weekend. Deputy Ernst helped out at the Wild Rose Old Fashioned Fest this weekend as well where she was challenged to a handstand competition. We are honored to be a part of such a wonderful community!

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, join us for a special Story Hour! A Police Officer + K9 Dog Brutus will be reading us a story and telling us all about a day in the life at the Police Station. Kids will make Thank You cards for our local Police Officers. It will be a great time!

Coloma school yard bash was held with our very own "Deputy Steve" Kasubaski getting dunked. Money was collected at school (Change War) to raise funds for CHAMPS to help fund school activities. Deputy Kasubaski's jar collected the most $$ so he was lucky enough to "hit the water" first! Thanks Deputy Kasubaski for being a role model for our youth!

Life Saving Awards were presented to members of Waushara County EMS, Waushara County Sheriff's Office, Waushara County Emergency Management, Redgranite Fire and Redgrante PD for an incident that occurred in the Village of Redgranite. Our very own Deputy Hansen and Communications Officer Arndt were among those who received recognition for their life saving efforts. Congratulations to all! Working together, we can make a difference every day!

Deputy Schoenstene, Sgt. Gunderson and Deputy Midthun attended training at Wild Rose Fire Department last evening. Training focused on hazards involved with the operation and how to select and set up landing zones.
