Happy Nurses and Teacher Appreciation Week!

I’m especially grateful for the incredible women in my life who have dedicated themselves to caring for others. My wife has been an educator for 28 years, shaping young minds and making a lasting difference every day. My youngest daughter, Riley Schenk, is a first grade teacher in Mustang, inspiring and guiding her students each day. My mom, Mary Schenk, served as a Nurse Practitioner with compassion and strength, and my oldest daughter, Bradi Gibson, continues that legacy as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, bringing new life into the world.

Thank you to all nurses and educators for your dedication, heart, and impact. You truly make a difference! 💙

I would like to introduce myself. My mom and dad, Kelly and Mary B Schenk moved to Watonga in 1969 when I was two years old to start work at the new Watonga Hospital. I attended Watonga Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade where I participated in athletics and FFA. I was a state champion in cross country and track. I also received the state farmer degree in FFA.
After graduation I went to OSU where I earned a degree in agriculture economics
In the spring of 1990, I moved to the family farm east of Hitchcock where my mom grew up and started farming.
In 1992, I married Bobbi Keenan and soon started our family. In 2003, We moved to Watonga to get closer to the schools. We have two grown girls Bradi and Riley. We also have a granddaughter and grandson.

I have continued to farm and ranch to the present day.

I worked at First State Bank as a loan officer from 2007 to 2014

I started a soil farming company from 2014 to 2017 when I sold out

In 2024, I went to work for Mach resources as a pumper which I’m am still currently employed.

I think I am qualified to handle the duties of your county commissioner. I would appreciate your support in the upcoming election on June 16th.
