I want to thank the town of Winslow for hosting me while I sat out front of town office. It was rather peaceful and I got some nice color while reading. I may have taken a siesta but I'll never tell. I'll be back next week if anyone wants to join me for lunch.

Update on Winn. He's moved from his current spot. He's had breakfast and currently enjoying an open air parking lot.

I have been down to the PD. I talked to Chief Bonney to get some additional context, and to discuss options.

Winn currently has 3 safe options of places to stay and be able to keep his dog. The decision is his to be had. You can't force someone to take the help that's offered.

He's not an addict, he has some noticeable issues, however he's kind, not aggressive and that dog is straight out of a Disney story.

It's unfortunate the system doesn't always have a solution especially in rare cases like this where housing isn't the barrier as it is in other cases. Govt is not the solution in many instances it becomes the very barrier we're trying to overcome. The law of unintended consequences is very real even when trying to do the right thing.

I appreciate everyone reaching out and trying to make a difference. It's in his hands now. If you care about him and see him about please remind him he has option and encourage him to use them. ✌️

Just had dinner with Wynn. I'll be back in the morning to have breakfast with him and help move him from his current location to somewhere safer. I'll be in contact with city officials in the morning.
