🚔☕ Fun fact: The officer in this photo is also our Fire Chief!

Congratulations to Chief Robert Dwello II on being recognized by Coffee for Cops. We're proud to have a Chief who serves our community both in blue and in red. 👮‍♂️🚒

Coffee for Cops™️ was conducting business in the Cayuga Lake Area and observed Chief Dwello of The Interlaken Village Police Department, NY exiting his patrol vehicle.

We immediately stopped in and honored him with a Behind The Badge Law-Enforcement Devotional Book and C4C challenge coin. Prayers were also issued for himself and his department.

A huge thank you to Steve from Steve Skinner's Cut Throat Tree Service LLC for their help yesterday replacing the flag on our station pole and safely removing the old front pole hardware for us.

We truly appreciate your time and support of Border City Fire District. Next up, we’ll be replacing the rope and attachments so our new front building flag can be proudly displayed as well. 🇺🇸

Earlier today, Border City Fire District was dispatched to Seneca Lake in Geneva for a water-related emergency.

This serves as an important reminder to use extreme caution when enjoying the lake, especially during current weather and water conditions. Strong winds, rough water, and rapidly changing conditions can quickly create dangerous situations for paddle boats, kayaks, and other small watercraft.

Please always wear a life jacket, check weather conditions before heading out, and make smart decisions on the water. Your safety is always the priority.
