Yesterday, I honored him with a Florida’s Finest Award on the Senate Floor - Sgt. Levasseur is a true Florida hero and we are a safer state because of his courage and those brave enough to answer the call to put others’ safety ahead of their own.

I’ve spent most of my career tackling fraud one way or another. As a prosecutor, judge and as Florida’s attorney general, it was part of the job.
