Colorado's Medicaid program paid millions of taxpayer dollars on behalf of nearly 9,000 deceased enrollees, according to a federal audit.

Yet instead of taking responsibility, Colorado democrats fought the findings and refused repayment.

Governor Jared Polis and Denver Democrats are always asking taxpayers for more money. Maybe they should explain why they can't properly account for the money they already have.

Accountability matters.

Everyday, my office helps constituents cut through federal bureaucracy and get the answers, benefits, and assistance they deserve.

This week alone, my casework team helped return more than $15.1 million to constituents across Colorado's 8th Congressional District.

One of this weeks biggest successes is when my office helped secure $15.05 million in indemnity payments for Morning Fresh Farms after the farm was forced to cull its chickens due to the avian flu outbreak. These funds will help support a critical Colorado agricultural operation and the workers and families who depend on it.

Since taking office, my team has helped return more than $18.8 million to constituents through casework assistance.

If you're having trouble with a federal agency, my office is here to help.

Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Greatest Generation.

On June 6, 1944, more than 156,000 Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy in the largest amphibious invasion in history. Facing overwhelming enemy fire, they helped liberate Europe from tyranny and changed the course of World War II.

As a veteran, I understand that freedom is never free. The success of D-Day came at an extraordinary cost, and its legacy is deeply personal to my family. My Abuelo landed in Normandy just days after D-Day and was wounded twice before the war's end while helping secure victory for the free world.

Today, we honor all those who answered the call, remember those who never came home, and recommit ourselves to preserving the liberty they fought to defend.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Last year in the Sanctuary City Oversight hearing, Mayor Mike Johnston blatantly admitted that officers in Denver aren’t allowed to fully fill out the FBI fingerprint card.

Why? So people illegally present in the country and committing crimes don’t face immigration enforcement.

The fact of the matter is, Democrats continually put ideology head of public safety, and it’s law abiding Americans who are forced to deal with the consequences.

Great meeting with Mayor Jan Kulmann, members of the Thornton City Council, and city leadership to discuss the priorities that matter most to Thornton families.

We talked about investing in critical infrastructure, improving safety along the I-25 corridor, supporting law enforcement and first responders through COPS and SAFER grants, strengthening water security, and addressing PFAS contamination.

I was proud to support Thornton's request for $1.5 million for its PFAS Treatment Project, and I'll continue working to bring federal resources back to Colorado communities for the infrastructure, public safety, and water projects that help keep our communities strong.

It was great meeting with Colorado's Young Cattlemen's Conference delegates and hearing directly from the next generation of leaders in our agriculture industry.

Having a family farm, I understand how important it is that Washington works for—not against—our producers. Whether it's passing a Farm Bill, expanding market access, addressing labor challenges, more grazing options during a drought, or cutting unnecessary red tape, I'm committed to fighting for Colorado agriculture.

Thank you to the deputies of the Larimer County Sheriff's Office who put themselves in harm's way to protect our communities.

This case is a reminder that law enforcement officers face dangerous situations every day on behalf of the people they serve. When someone attempts to murder two deputies carrying out their duties, there must be real consequences.

Colorado's law enforcement officers deserve our gratitude, our support, and the tools they need to keep our communities safe.

The results are in: 97% of Americans received a tax cut this filing season.

That's not tax relief for billionaires. That's tax relief for hardworking families, seniors, small business owners, tipped workers, and Americans putting in overtime to provide for their families.

More than $82 billion has already been returned to taxpayers through the Working Families Tax Cuts, with the overwhelming majority of relief going to households earning under $200,000 per year.

House Republicans promised to prevent the largest tax hike in American history and put more money back into the pockets of working Americans. We delivered.

I'm proud to support policies that reward work, strengthen families, and help Coloradans keep more of their hard-earned money.

Public safety and constitutional rights are not mutually exclusive.

As a former Sergeant and Lieutenant in the Denver metro area, I understood that enforcing the law meant following the law. That's why I asked Secretary Mullin how DHS is implementing a policy requiring judicial warrants before entering private homes.

We can target gang members, traffickers, and violent criminals while still respecting the constitutional protections every American deserves.

06/03/2026

As a former police officer, this is an issue I take seriously.

As Secretary Mullin appears before the House Homeland Security Committee, one of the questions I'll be asking is how DHS is implementing policies to ensure immigration enforcement actions respect the constitutional rights of the American people.

We need to secure our border, remove dangerous criminals from our communities, and enforce our laws. But we must also uphold the Constitution and protect the Fourth Amendment rights that make our country worth defending in the first place.
