Joined Katq Radio in Plentywood to discuss my bill, H.R. 7250, which passed the House this week.

The bill extends authorization for the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System through 2028, giving the project the time needed to complete its final phases and continue delivering clean, reliable water to tribal and rural communities across northeastern Montana.

Today in the House Committee on Natural Resources GOP hearing, I questioned U.S. Forest Service Chief Schultz on wildfire readiness, fuel reduction, and the importance of working with state, local, and tribal partners to better manage our forests.

With much of Montana facing drought and below-average snowpack, we need active forest management and strong federal-state partnerships to reduce fire risk and protect our communities.

Big win for northeastern Montana.

The House just passed my bill, H.R. 7250, to extend authorization for the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System through 2028 and keep critical water infrastructure moving forward for tribal and rural communities.

The House just passed my bill to extend authorization for the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System through 2028.

This is a major step forward for clean, reliable water access for tribal and rural communities across northeastern Montana. Proud to have gotten it done and I urge my colleagues in the Senate to act quickly to get it to the President’s desk.

Big news for Great Falls and Montana’s economy.

This new manufacturing facility will bring more than $800 million in investment to MT, and has the potential to create over 1,000 manufacturing and engineering jobs within five years.

This is a major win for Montana workers, American manufacturing, and our state’s growing aerospace sector.

Janicki told MTN News last month that the campus is expected to create more than 1,000 manufacturing and engineering jobs within five years.
