The fight over congressional redistricting in Maryland is far from over.

If the General Assembly attempts to redraw the congressional map, I believe there are strong constitutional grounds to challenge it in court — including the same protections Judge Battaglia relied on when she struck down Maryland’s partisan gerrymandered map in 2022.

Seven of Maryland’s eight congressional districts are already represented by Democrats.

But apparently, one Republican district is still one too many for the Democrat supermajority in Annapolis.

That’s what Question 3 is really about: another attempt at extreme partisan gerrymandering.

$4.3 million is headed to Carroll County to expand rural health care — and Marylanders deserve to know where that funding came from.
These aren’t state dollars. Thanks to President Trump and the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, these federal dollars are being delivered through the Rural Health Transformation Program.

I was the ONLY Maryland representative to vote for the bill that made this funding possible.

Now, those federal dollars are coming back to Maryland to expand primary care, behavioral health services, and in-home care for Carroll County residents.

The Carroll County Health Department received $4.36 million to expand healthcare access through a new health hub, community paramedicine program and behavioral health services.

During this week’s Telephone Town Halls, I asked folks to weigh in on several issues facing Marylanders and our country.

➡️ 83.2% support the SAVE America Act’s voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements.

➡️ 81.8% said Maryland should repeal Governor Wes Moore’s vehicle registration fee increases.

81 years ago today, World War II came to an end.

On V-J Day, we remember the courage and sacrifice of the Americans who fought in the Pacific and honor all those who served to defend our nation and secure victory.

Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
