Read our request to Congress to extend the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funding through September 2024. https://bit.ly/3PNZwNK

The extension was last reauthorized in 2005 and has been renewed through short-term extensions. What we and other organizations are requesting will provide agencies implementing the TANF program to continue serving children and families.

We closed out the ISM + PHSA Conference & Expo by recognizing the contributions of ISM Chair, Robert Hobbelman. Through his position as Chief Information Officer at the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services in Virginia and within the APHSA and ISM, he has helped move our organizations forward, as well as the entire sector.

In addition to honoring his decades-long career, we want to wish him a happy transition into retirement. It is well-deserved, Robert. Thank you for all your contributions!
