Cameron from my team had the honor of presenting a Congressional Record to Carol Callahan in tribute to Lt. Colonel Joseph Callahan Jr. and his remarkable service.

Carol’s home recently received a new roof through Operation Raise the Roof, which provides secure roofing for veterans and their families.

It was a meaningful way to continue honoring Lt. Colonel Callahan and the organization’s important work.

My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives, the injured, and everyone impacted by this morning’s terrible crash on I-95.

Thank you to the law enforcement and first responders who rushed to the scene. My team and I will continue to monitor the situation.

Virginia State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 southbound in Stafford County that killed five and sent more than 30 people to area hospitals Friday.

More than half of Virginia families report that their household debt increases during the summer because of rising food costs.

To help ease that burden, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and local school divisions are operating summer meal service programs in Stafford County and Fredericksburg.
