The Trump administration is deliberately trying to rewrite our history and exclude some of our nation’s most valuable contributors. Our Smithsonian museums have 250 years of history to honor and celebrate. There is no reason why we shouldn’t share all of it.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Lowering Costs Caucus for my Patient Access to Autoimmune Treatments (PAAT) Act. Medicare patients with autoimmune diseases and blood disorders shouldn’t have to go through expensive, repeat approvals through their insurance companies. After passing this legislation in the Texas statehouse, I’m proud to lead this national effort so that patients can finally get the care they need without breaking the bank.

Republicans are calling today’s vote a ban on insider trading. But tucked into the last few pages of this bill is Trump’s voter suppression act. He knows Republicans can’t win in November on their ideas, so they have to make sure YOU don’t vote.
