Chantal es una joven organizadora y activista de la diáspora filipina que hizo mucho trabajo en nuestra área del DMV y fue capturada por las fuerzas represivas del gobierno fascista de Filipinas mientras realizaba un viaje de estudios y solidaridad con comunidades indígenas en la región de Mindoro Occidental, Filipinas, el primero de enero, cuando la AFP bombardeó Abra de Ilog. Join us for a collective mobilization on International Migrants Day as we highlight our interconnected struggles and reclaim the UN-initiated day in the name of People(s)-Centered Human Rights. The speak outs will counter the comprador political leadership of the Philippines, Peru, El Salvador, and Trinidad and Tobago at their U.S. embassies and end at DuPont Circle to address the same violence of U.S. militarization that is deployed domestically and abroad.

Continue the fight for the genuine freedom of our people, from the U.S. to our homelands!
