I voted NO on the Republican reconciliation package because working families need relief, not another blank check for ICE. While families struggle with the cost of groceries, gas, and housing, Republicans are pouring billions into deportation efforts targeting hardworking immigrants instead of lowering costs or investing in affordable housing, healthcare, and education. The American people deserve better.

Natural disasters don’t check your political party before destroying your home. We used to rely on the federal government to help communities rebuild, regardless of politics. But right now, families who lost everything across 30+ states are being left in limbo while leaders play blame games. When people’s livelihoods are on the line, the stalling needs to stop.

I voted for the War Powers Resolution because no administration should drag our country deeper into conflict without a plan to win or an exit strategy. For 95 days, working families paid the price through higher costs at the grocery store and the gas pump while taxpayers footed the bill. We owe our troops a clear mission and the American people accountability.
