Instead of an emergency appeal—recklessly prolonging litigation—Trump should simply abandon his insidious new USPS mail ballot rule designed to disenfranchise millions of Americans.

It’s a system designed to fail—impossible to implement in time & consistent with the right to vote.

As the whistleblower has made clear, it’s constructed to crash, a purposeful sabotage of mail voting. It puts at risk all ballots of the 1/3 of Americans who vote by mail.

Ballots are literally going into the mail beginning tomorrow, making this scheme all the more destructive.

If Trump refuses to abandon this malign plot, the Courts should give his rule & Executive Order the demise they richly & urgently deserve—as unconstitutional & unconscionable.

The justices have been asked to weigh in again on the Trump administration’s efforts to restrict mail voting — this time on whether the plans violate the Constitution.

Absolutely nothing in the Postal Service’s statement denies or contradicts the deeply disturbing details of the whistleblower’s disclosure.

Most importantly, it does nothing to directly address the fears of voters that USPS will refuse to deliver their ballots based on the output of a shoddy computer system they started building four months ago.

“Just trust us” is not acceptable. The Postal Service stated their commitment to transparency & accountability so I look forward to their detailed response to my specific questions & production of documents.

Cruelty is the point. ICE’s goal is to sow fear in communities like Danbury. While we push for reforms in Congress, we’ll support efforts to fight for justice owed to people detained.

This brave whistleblower has disclosed dramatic details about USPS’ seemingly illegal plot to undermine November’s midterms. The system is purposefully designed to fail—& risk voting rights for millions of Americans who cast ballots by mail.
