Georgetown University: Plated

Georgetown University: Plated Educating Residents About Social Equity platED is a new diversity initiative within the Office of Residential Living at Georgetown University.

platED is dedicated to maintaining and building an inclusive environment for the residential community through discussions surrounding issues of diversity, identity and social justice within their residence halls and spaces. Up to 8 participants have the opportunity to engage in these conversations with one the D7 topics or a current over a meal in one of our residential spaces on campus with a fa

culty or staff member. You can apply for a platED event with at least two weeks in advance notice of the proposed platED event. By filling out this application you will be serving as the main contact to work with your RA to locate space, pick up food once it is delivered, coordinate with faculty/staff to find building location, return itemized receipt to Jillian Sitjar's mailbox in Harbin 100, and fill out the assessment form following the event.
