As Chair of the Tennessee Valley Corridor Caucus, it was my pleasure to kick off the 2026 TVC Summit in Chattanooga. The Summit brings together world-leading institutions such as the ORNL, TVA, Arnold AFB, and Redstone Arsenal, alongside our dynamic ecosystem of private industry and outstanding universities. I particularly want to thank the fantastic hosts
EPB and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for showing off the best of Chattanooga! I was proud to highlight how the Corridor has become a national hub for nuclear innovation, leading the nation into a new nuclear future. From advanced reactor development to fuel production to next-generation research, the work happening in the Tennessee Valley will ensure American energy dominance. Thank you to all those supporting the Corridor and for all of your efforts to make it work for the people of the five states. Leaders like Deputy Secretary of Energy Danly, who I was proud to introduce at the summit, are instrumental to achieving these goals in nuclear, quantum, advanced manufacturing, and AI. His work is helping ensure that the DOE and our national labs partner and collaborate across state and local governments, academia, and private industry to build lasting transformations that secures American prosperity and security for generations to come.
