The people of Michigan voted to expand voting rights but now Michigan Republicans are using a petition to make voting harder. This petition doesn't require votes, only a small percentage of signatures which makes it an egregious form of voter suppression.

To all those around the country who are angry and grieving and standing up to the systemic oppression that led to the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others, we support you.

The pain and anguish so many Americans are facing are being underscored across the country by protests against police brutality and a broken justice system. We're in this fight with you — it's far past the time for substantive change.

This is a moment we all need to come together. It should be nobody's burden to take on systemic racism alone, especially not people of color. We're all in this fight.

Democracy is under attack across the country, and we’re taking the fight for reform to three states this year. We’ll be on the ground in Arizona, New Hampshire, and North Carolina to stand up to dark money, special interests, and voter suppression.

The voting rights groups founded by former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander will merge with End Citizens United, which advocates for campaign finance reform.
