For more than forty years, John Darby and his family have preserved the Irma’s legacy and carried forward its tradition as a destination for visitors coming to Cody from across the globe. Buffalo Bill built the Irma to help put Cody on the map, and John made sure that vision endured for generations across Wyoming and travelers alike. His dedication to this piece of our state’s history is a legacy all its own. Please join me in lifting his family and friends up in prayer during this difficult time.

We will never forget the attack at Abbey Gate that claimed the lives of 13 courageous American service members. It was a devastating tragedy, and my prayers remain with the families and loved ones of those we lost.

Please continue to keep our servicemen and women and their families in your prayers.

Happy Birthday to the National Park Service!

For over a century, the National Park Service has preserved America's most treasured landscapes and landmarks. Thank you to the rangers, staff, and volunteers who care for them every day.

Cheyenne has lost a good man. Sloan Hales, along with his wife Anna Marie, own the Wyoming Hereford Ranch. They gave generously to this community for decades — LCCC, Youth Alternatives, the symphony, and so much more. Sloan was a renowned anesthesiologist in Cheyenne and was passionate about his family, ranch, and his faith.

He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Sending love to Anna Marie and the whole Hales family.

View Joseph "Sloan" Hales's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

Big deal for Wyoming!

For 25+ years, the Roadless Rule tied the Forest Service's hands on millions of acres of our forests, leaving them unmanaged and primed to burn.

Glad to see the Trump admin cutting that red tape and trusting states to manage our own land.

Today, U.S. Forest Service has filed a proposed rule to rescind the national 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule in its entirety.

For over 25 years, this rule has restricted road construction and limited the Forest Service's ability to carry out critical active management work within inventoried roadless area.

The rescission intends to prioritize local agency decision-making over regulatory rules that are the same across the country, regardless of specific land management issues and needs.

It was great welcoming Senator Tim Scott to Wyoming this week for the SALT Conference, where we discussed passing the Clarity Act and keeping digital asset innovation right here in America - and here in Wyoming.

Thanks to Jonathan Jachym of Kraken for moderating our conversation. I was also honored to receive the Digital Future Pioneer Award, complete with a beautiful belt buckle!

It's always a privilege to attend the Centennial Farm and Ranch Awards Ceremony in Douglas, sponsored by the Wyoming Historic Preservation Office.

Each year, we come together to honor the families of Wyoming farms and ranches that have remained in operation for 100 years or more, a true testament to generations of hard work and perseverance. It's an honor to help recognize the families whose dedication continues to shape Wyoming's agricultural heritage.

On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment guaranteed women the right to vote nationwide. Wyoming is proud of our legacy—granting women suffrage in 1869, decades before, earning us the nickname "The Equality State."

Today we honor the generations of women whose determination strengthened our republic—and reaffirm that every citizen has both the privilege and responsibility to take part in self-government.
