I enjoyed meeting with leaders across central Oklahoma during several roundtables in the district. We held two Mayors and City Managers Roundtables, one focused on our rural communities and another with leaders from the Oklahoma City area, to help local leaders navigate the Community Project Funding process. During the Manufacturing Roundtable, we discussed tariffs, trade, workforce development, permitting, and other issues impacting Oklahoma manufacturers. At the Border Security Roundtable, we heard directly from those on the front lines combatting illegal immigration, fentanyl, trafficking, and how we can continue supporting their efforts.

It was an honor to visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial with HUD Secretary Scott Turner. This memorial pays tribute to those who were lost, the survivors, and all who were forever impacted by the bombing. We will never forget their lives, their stories, or the resilience that emerged in the aftermath. It was meaningful to share this important part of Oklahoma’s history with Secretary Turner.

This morning I joined Palomar: Oklahoma City's Family Justice Center for a domestic violence roundtable with community leaders from the YWCA and the National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators. These organizations provide vital assistance to our community. I was grateful to have the opportunity to discuss their priorities and how we can continue supporting their work.

It was great to welcome HUD Secretary Scott Turner to Oklahoma and tour Pivot’s tiny home community. We were able to showcase the incredible work they are doing to provide young adults with a safe place to live while helping them build successful, independent futures. Thank you to everyone at Pivot for the important work you do to strengthen our community, and thank you to Secretary Turner for visiting Oklahoma and taking the time to see it firsthand.

I had the opportunity to join Flourish Compounding Pharmacy for their grand reopening and ribbon cutting and celebrate their new space in Oklahoma City. I also enjoyed touring ACME Brick Company and learning more about Oklahoma’s brickmaking industry. I met with local Breakthrough T1D advocates to hear about their experiences with Type 1 diabetes and discuss ways we can continue supporting research and access to care.
