Rochelle King, a resident of Roanoke Rapids and founder of His Hands of Roanoke Valley, is dedicated to serving some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Through her nonprofit, Rochelle helps low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners remain safely in their homes by providing critical exterior home repairs at no cost, ensuring families have a safe and stable place to live.
In addition to home repair, His Hands of Roanoke Valley serves as a hub for community support and opportunity. Through its Community Store, Outreach Center, and Vendor Market, Rochelle helps local entrepreneurs grow their businesses while generating resources to support programs for families in need. Her organization also provides a welcoming space for prayer, encouragement, and healing, offering comfort to individuals facing difficult circumstances.
We are proud to recognize Rochelle King for her commitment to serving others, preserving safe housing for seniors and individuals with disabilities, and creating opportunities for families across eastern North Carolina.
