NEW: TP-Link has been added to the Pentagon's list of Chinese military-linked companies. This is a huge step in securing our national security interests.

TP-Link also sells baby monitors and doorbell cameras used in millions of American homes. Americans should never have to worry that devices designed to protect their families could be giving the CCP access to their private lives.

That’s why we teamed up with Senator Joni Ernst earlier this year to bring these Chinese companies to the FCC’s attention. It's time to close the CCP's back door into both Americans’ homes and our military bases.

Iowa is home to foundries that support domestic industries, from academic partnerships with University of Northern Iowa, to our defense industrial base – including many right in Iowa’s Second District! Childcare remains one of the biggest household expenses for families in Iowa and across the country. After more than a decade without reauthorization, the federal government's primary childcare program simply isn't equipped to meet the needs of our families.

That’s why I helped introduce bipartisan legislation to expand access to affordable, quality childcare and ensure every working family can access quality, affordable childcare. This bill tackles barriers that make it harder to open and grow childcare facilities, creating more options for parents and strengthening our workforce. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I'll keep fighting to make it easier to raise one.

My team was proud to attend the unveiling of the new Guardian Response Unit (G.R.U.) at The Stable. This veteran-owned ambulance will help ensure veterans and their families have reliable transportation and support during medical emergencies, funerals, and other difficult moments that no one should have to navigate alone.
